3 Fun Places to Visit with the Kids in Singapore

universal studio singaporeIt is clean, modern, and exciting. Singapore, no doubt, is one of the most family-friendly destinations in Asia. Everything from the flawless pavements and kid friendly attractions, to the good food and spacious hotels make travelling with kids easy.

The place has that energising hustle and bustle that makes Asian destinations so attractive. It is an excellent taste of Asia for the kids, all without the stress other Asian destinations present.

With so many attractions, this Asian playground offers, here is a list of the go-to places that will keep children (and adults) entertained.

Sentosa

Sentosa is Singapore’s premier playground dedicated to entertainment and pleasure. Even getting there is already fun. You and the kids can hop aboard a cable car and gaze at the stunning views of the city. Once at Sentosa, there are many attractions to choose from.

The family can cool off in Fantasy Land, a water park filled with rides and slides and rock with The Sesame Street Gang at Universal Studios. Complete your stay by seeing the Wings of Time, a spectacular night show set outdoors against the open sea.

Singapore Zoo

Zoos are everywhere in Singapore, but the Singapore Zoo is one worth dragging along the kids to. It is big, set out very nicely, and the animals seem well taken care of. The animals are in open space and not in cages—you can even see monkeys swinging above with you as you explore the zoo. You can also eat breakfast with the animals in the morning and go on a night safari.

Hawker Markets

Singapore has many fine eateries and restaurants, but you may want to head to the hawker markets for an early dinner. You will find something for everyone under one roof.

Singaporean cuisine is like Malaysian food with variations, and a great way of sampling this cuisine is going to the hawker markets. Try the Lau Pa Sat and Newton hawker markets and you will find very good food at an affordable price.

Singapore is basically a little Asia that is organised, easy to navigate, and has all the amenities and the attractions you may want to try with the kids in tow.
