Actor John Travolta butchered the name of “Frozen” singer Idina Menzel at the Oscars last Sunday night. While introducing the singing performance, Travolta called her “the wickedly talented Adele Dazeem.” It made people scratch their heads to who this Adele Dazeem person is.

Let It Go, Let it Goooo

Idina Menzel (Uh-deen-ah Men-zelle) or as Travolta introduced her, Adele Dazeem, performed the Academy Award-winning song from Disney’s “Frozen,” which won the Best Animated Feature Film category.

“I’ve been beating myself up all day. Then I thought… what would Idina Menzel say She’d say, Let it go, let it go! Idina is incredibly talented and I am so happy Frozen took home two Oscars Sunday night!,” says Travolta’s publicist to CNN.

Travolitfy Your Name

The initial statement sent to CNN contained sentence fragments and missing key phrases, which made it somewhat distorted. This is why Travolta’s flub became the talk-of-the-town across different social networks. In fact, you can now Travoltify your name using Slate.com’s widget.

“You’re no one until you’ve had your name mangled by a confused, squinting John Travolta,” according to Slate. “What’s your Travoltified name? Find out with our handy widget!”
